Summary:

This position is responsible to drive forward initiatives that make Oregon Fruit Product a better business – from building a diverse team, to developing leaders, to ensuring communication is open and empowering employees. Be a strategic voice to help the company continue to grow effectively and sustainably. Onboard successful applicants and empower teams to do excellent work with a primary focus to build people and organizational capability by translating business strategy into people strategy and results. Be dedicated to retaining, developing, rewarding, and motivating employees while holding them accountable to living the Company’s mission, vision and values.

Essential Duties

  • Reinforce the Company’s culture and create an environment where core values become a part of each employee’s daily work.

  • Partner with the internal team to create and build engagement within the team

  • Empower managers to develop their teams. Demonstrate expertise in coaching employees through change, whether that change is company-wide, manager specific, or career development

  • Create training curriculum that creates growth and development opportunities for the team

  • Manage and execute recruitment activities for roles outside the plant floor

  • Manage the performance management system

  • Manage the relationship with Xenium

  • Mange the Plant Personnel (team of 3)

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or relevant field or equivalent experience.

  • Deep and broad experience as a people generalist, managing all areas of the employee lifecycle.

  • The ability to execute tactically and think strategically.

  • Experience contributing to and delivering people focused initiatives, continuously adapting and improving to suit growing business needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
